Voyage Luggage.
SEO & AI growth.
The brands. The stores. The catalog. You already have the foundations. Now make them work harder in Google search — and in the answers AI gives shoppers.
Explore the proposalThe catalog is ready.
The visibility isn’t.
Voyage already earns meaningful traffic from search. But the big buying questions, carry-on size searches and national AI recommendations go elsewhere. The nearest opportunity is not starting over. It is making the pages and stores you already have compete.

Voyage draws an estimated 56,000 unpaid Google visits a month. Almost half land on category pages; 28% come from searches for the brands it carries.
A specialist already sets the pace.
Luggage Pros draws about five times Voyage’s traffic and has 1,249 referring websites, against Voyage’s 392. Voyage is second in the retailer set on estimated visits.
The first page is still open.
Voyage did not reach page one on any of 19 major luggage searches. Only one specialist retailer appeared, once. Brands, Amazon, department stores and Reddit dominate.
A useful guide that isn’t being found.
The carry-on size guide is about 1,700 words, linked from the homepage and reviewed against airline rules. It was not found in roughly 90 results for size questions with 60,200 monthly searches between two phrasings.
Known in Miami. Missing online.
ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI named Voyage in 29 of 36 Miami answers, but just 4 of 166 other luggage answers. Google’s AI did not cite Voyage in 31 non-brand answers.
Connect the stores to the site.
Voyage holds the map near Dolphin Mall, but not in Miami or Miami Beach. Both store listings link to voyageluggagemiami.com rather than the main shopping site.
Source: Skyward’s initial assessment, using DataForSEO estimates and live search / AI checks. Outside estimates, not Voyage’s analytics.
None of Voyage’s 15 strongest linking websites is a travel publication. Travel + Leisure, the New York Times and Condé Nast Traveler — sources search and AI rely on for luggage advice — do not link to Voyage in this assessment.
DataForSEO, September 2026 traffic levels and link index. Authority scores: Luggage Online 58; Luggage Pros 48; Voyage 41; Luggage Base 39; Empire 17. A second traffic model was unavailable, so no growth trend is asserted.
The size guide is built. Google is not showing it.
60,200 searches a month are asking what it answers.
The brands and the giants.
Voyage did not reach the first page on 19 big luggage searches. Of the specialist set, only Luggage Pros appeared — once.

Three priorities.
One connected plan.
Clean up the signals. Make existing pages compete. Earn a place in AI answers. This is a draft order of work from the assessment; Voyage’s own search, analytics and sales data should decide the final priorities.
Clean up & connect
The groundwork Google reads first.
Give each collection one primary page; review and retire duplicate collections and discount-code pages. Confirm one return policy and make the homepage, footer and FAQ consistent.
Make existing pages compete
Win searches Voyage already has pages for.
Check indexing and Search Console evidence for the carry-on airline size guide, then rework it around the size questions shoppers ask. Rebuild carry-on, luggage set, garment bag and checked-luggage collections as useful buying pages.
Earn the AI answer
Be named when shoppers ask for luggage advice.
Develop honest comparisons across brands, built around useful, quotable answers. Present accurate airline size data in a clear form search engines and AI can read.
Connect local trust
to online demand.
Voyage appeared in the three-result map box on 12 of 20 searches from 10 local towns. The reputation is there; the site needs to carry it.
The proof is
already there.
Voyage’s categories, brands and guides already earn traffic. Give the rest the same level of care.
Products across Tumi, Briggs & Riley, Samsonite, Travelpro and more.
Estimated monthly visits to the carry-on category.
Estimated monthly visits across two existing buying guides.
Ratings on both Dolphin Mall store listings.
Three return windows. The homepage description says 60 days. The footer and FAQ say 30. The FAQ exchange section says 60. Confirm the correct policy before changing any copy.
Competing collection pages. /waistpack, /waist-pack and /waistpacks each claim to be the original. JanSport, Heys and aluminum luggage also have duplicates.
Discount codes indexed as pages. PROWEEK20 and RICARDO10 are live, discoverable pages. Review which should remain before expired offers reach shoppers.
Empty identity pages. The About page and Dolphin Mall store page have a heading but no meaningful content. They should establish who Voyage is and where it operates.
Measure the right
outcome.
Validate the outside estimates against Search Console, analytics and sales. Then track the pages improved, the searches they win, the AI questions that name Voyage and the shoppers they bring closer to a purchase.
A starting point, not a fresh diagnosis.
Estimated monthly visits from the source assessment. Use first-party reporting to validate and prioritize.
| Page | Estimated visits / month |
|---|---|
| Homepage | 9,381 |
| Carry-on | 4,083 |
| Tumi | 2,379 |
| Best luggage brands guide | 1,280 |
| Best lightweight luggage guide | 969 |
| Travelpro | 934 |
| Wheeled duffels | 833 |
| Delsey | 826 |
A realistic horizon. Clearer pages and connected store listings can address existing gaps. Search visibility, earned links and AI citations require repeated measurement and time. Targets, fees and timelines should be agreed after validating the baseline — not inferred from third-party estimates.
Sources, methodology & attribution
This FOUR8 proposal adapts the Voyage Luggage SEO & AI Visibility Growth Assessment by Skyward, presented by Drew Schwartz and Paul Skirbe. DataForSEO supplies traffic, keyword and authority estimates; US live Google checks cover desktop and phone. Google AI observations cover one day; assistant recommendations span 214 answers over two days. The Miami map example is dated 1 October 2026.
No access to Voyage’s own analytics was available. Traffic estimates are not actual visits, authority is a third-party score rather than a Google metric, and AI results vary. A second traffic model was unavailable, so historical growth percentages are not presented as confirmed trends. FOUR8 has not independently rerun the underlying audit.
The source also contains Skyward leadership biographies, client logos, a testimonial and case studies for David Yurman (+731% men’s jewelry search visits), Sears Parts Direct (2.5× faster AI citation growth, measured 12 days after launch) and Universal Standard (+713% Google visits). Those are Skyward’s credentials, not FOUR8’s; they remain available in the original assessment and are not rebranded here.
Turn the findings
into forward motion.
Walk through the assessment together, validate it against Voyage’s own numbers and agree a scope. Then set the sequence, responsibilities and review rhythm before kickoff.
A draft scope.
Clear priorities.
The assessment becomes three groups of work. These are proposed deliverables for discussion, not an executed agreement. Final responsibilities, pricing and timing are confirmed together before kickoff.
Clean up & connect
The groundwork Google reads first.
- Give each collection one primary page; review and retire duplicate collections and discount-code pages.
- Confirm one return policy and make the homepage, footer and FAQ consistent.
- Write the About and Dolphin Mall store pages with accurate company and location information.
- Point store listings at relevant store pages on voyageluggage.com; review the two mall listings and the separate HQ listing.
Make existing pages compete
Win searches Voyage already has pages for.
- Check indexing and Search Console evidence for the carry-on airline size guide, then rework it around the size questions shoppers ask.
- Rebuild carry-on, luggage set, garment bag and checked-luggage collections as useful buying pages.
- Plan brand-plus-type pages for Tumi, Samsonite and Travelpro, with clear intent and internal links.
- Refresh the existing buying guides and connect their advice to relevant products and categories.
Earn the AI answer
Be named when shoppers ask for luggage advice.
- Develop honest comparisons across brands, built around useful, quotable answers.
- Present accurate airline size data in a clear form search engines and AI can read.
- Create resources worth citing and seek relevant placements with the travel publications AI answers draw on.
- Build a lasting sale page and extend store visibility through the main site.
Seven phases.
Decisions, not just documents.
Search and AI visibility are a standing operation. Every cycle should lead to a decision and a measurable next action.
- 1. Intake. Connect search, analytics and sales data. Understand the buyer and what only Voyage’s team can tell us.
- 2. Triage. Give each page a decision: keep, improve, redirect, merge or remove. Obtain approval before anything moves.
- 3. Technical. Check speed, structure, markup, broken links and access for search engines and AI on the pages that stay.
- 4. Search analysis. Group searches by intent and match pages to questions. Agree the page plan before writing starts.
- 5. Your pages. Create a brief per page, with review by someone who knows the trade. Apply titles, links and markup after.
- 6. Other sites. Judge placement quality, target the sources assistants actually read and build something worth quoting.
- 7. Measurement. Take a baseline when each fix ships, review once it lands and let the evidence reorder the next work.
Three approval gates. Voyage approves what gets removed, the page plan and the final drafts. No specific rankings, traffic increases or AI citations are guaranteed. Changes to scope are agreed before implementation.
You have the brands, the stores and the expertise. Make them the answer shoppers find.
